My name is Brent Allen Stockel. I was born at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. I have lived in Mt. pleasant all of my life. My parents are James Allen and Candace Louise Stockel. My father is a special populations counselor for the Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center in Mt. Pleasant High School. My mother works as a retail manager for Sagebrush also in Mt. Pleasant. I have a sister, Heather, and a brother, Scott.
I have lived all over the city of Mt. Pleasant. I have lived in duplexes along with apartments. My current home is at 617 Whitney.
I began my schooling at Pullen Elementary. I attended the school up through the second grade. I then transferred to Ganiard Elementary where I finished up grade school. I went to West Intermediate for the seventh and eighth grades. Then I went on to high school where I am currently a senior anticipating graduation in June of ‘99.
I enjoy playing sports. They always came easy to me so I was able to play many different types. When I was in grade school I played soccer, baseball, basketball, and ran track. As the years went on my interests changed and I realized that I was participating in too many sports. When I reached high school, I ran cross country in the fall, basketball in the winter, and ran track in the spring. I earned many awards in cross country as well as a few in track and basketball as well.
Right now I am beginning to plan my life in the real world. I have a decent grade point average. I am looking forward to making the next step in life.
